Immediate Position: Senior Application Architect
Location: St. John’s, NL, Halifax, NS, remote
Digital Six is looking for an experienced individual to fill a Senior Application Architect role on project-based and client-facing service engagements.
Required Experience/Skills:
- A University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or certification in Information Technology from a recognized community college. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 10 Years of IM/IT Experience of which 8 is in solution design and modeling concepts.
- Extraordinary portfolio of shipped work demonstrating impactful architecture leadership and exemplary understanding of application architecture and and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience working with various technology and solution platforms or components is considered an asset. Describe working knowledge of things such as firewalls, networks, servers, integration, security certificates, etc.
- Experience designing large-scale systems and applications
- Experience with one or more of the following CRM/CXM platforms Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamic Qualtrics and/or Oracle is an asset
- Experience working in and leading collaborative teams, partnering closely with key stakeholders to define use cases and requirements, and working directly with developers, UI/UX designers, and business analysts, and QA in the design, build and implementation of COTS and Custom solutions.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Experience working in public sector would be considered an asset
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation, teaching, and coaching
- A service-oriented attitude is essential
- Willingness to travel as required
Specifically, qualified candidates should possess experience, knowledge and skills that allow them to execute on the following responsibilities:
- Define solution architectures and frameworks.
- Develop and deliver Architecture deliverables.
- Analyze and evaluate alternative solutions to meet business problems.
- Lead solution/application implementation planning and execution including the development and execution of detailed architecture design plans.
- Actively participate in product development sprints, design workshops and brainstorming sessions.
